Inspired by the tagline “no one can hear you scream in space”, this piece looks at how fear can creep up on you. It can subconsciously build to the point where you can become extremely caught up in it in your own “space”, or mind. In this case, the astronaut is shown to be fearing not being able to live up to societal beauty standards as represented by the “beautiful” alien creeping up behind her, and attempting to entrap her.
